Boomerangs FS - Club Championships Position as at 5 October 2011

Sourced from http://www.footballnsw.com.au/fileadmin/user_upload/Futsal/Club_champ_premier_league.pdf

The Boomerangs FS have made a solid start to there first season in the NSW Premier League. The games are all of an intensity you would find very similar to the standard to be observed at the FFA Futsal Nationals. That's what makes the Boomerangs FS participation in the NSW Futsal PL the most important development in Futsal in a decade.

I'd encourage all players, coaches in Futsal and anyone who loves watching good Futsal, to come and see the Boomerangs play there home games in Canberra (either at AIS Training Hall or Southern Cross stadium - so check). These are the games to benchmark against, get ideas from and will inspire others to coach and play Futsal. The teams you see will contain the coaches and players who will represent NSW at the FFA Futsal Nationals - and at present it is NSW that is winning everything at the Nationals. The Boomerangs FS provide the ACT players and Capital Football with the pathway to Futsal excellence. Simple as that - nothing else comes close. You don;t believe me? Well get to the Boomerangs FS home games. See for yourself.

And guess what - the Boomerangs FS have already demonstrated that they are competitive at every age level in the NSW Premier League. How good can our players become? As good as any others is the answer, but only if they get the competitive experience.

Over the season you will see every team in the NSW Premier League Futsal competition here in the ACT, a competition that is regarded as the the most competitive Futsal competition in Australia.

Every Club watches the Club Championship points score - there is promotion / relegation in this league. The Boomerangs FS are looking to consolidate their promotion to the premier league in their first season. They are off to a good start, but there is no doubt, this first season will be a tough one. The table below does not include this last Saturday's games at home to Enfield Rovers - a hard day's competition, with a few wins, including the Men's Open game which saw the Boomerangs absolutely dominate the Enfield Rovers.
